Fortis Solutions Group, a packaging supplier with multiple manufacturing facilities across the United States, is a leader in developing packaging solutions. Fortis offers a broad range of products including pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, folding cartons, and label applicators.

National Accounts Director, Beverage-Remote (Eastern US) role at Fortis Solutions Group. This position is focused on driving new business sales for the Beverage category, identifying prospects, meeting onsite with prospects, and generating opportunities to quote with the aim of securing new business.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve annual new business sales goals.
  • Achieve annual existing/current customer sales goals.
  • Identify strategic potential new business opportunities within the assigned territory and introduce the Company to these opportunities using networking, marketing resources, and other tools to drive sales growth.
  • Secure onsite meetings with new business decision makers and qualify customer needs, providing detailed product information and pricing estimates, and communicating the Companys value proposition.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to report new contacts, opportunities, track activities (onsite visits, estimates, sample testing, etc.), and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Develop marketing and sales plans for new business growth; build presentations and proposals for new opportunities.
  • Lead appropriate Company sales meetings and share learnings for the teams development and success.
  • Provide won/loss data with reasons for all estimates.
  • Troubleshoot problems regarding customer products and handle complaints if necessary.
  • Stay informed of industry changes and represent the company at industry conferences and events as necessary.
  • Travel as required within the assigned territory; maintain a home office and a personally insured vehicle.
  • Additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of label or printing sales experience with a track record of new and existing customer sales growth.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean MVR.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in selling techniques, including securing face-to-face meetings with decision makers, handling objections, and closing deals.
  • Proven ability to close sales and drive territory growth; ability to build strong relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Understanding of the sales landscape in the assigned area; ability to prioritize and manage competing projects.
  • Proactive problem solver, accountable to customers and management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/sales project tools (Smartsheet, Salesforce, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • Ability to work effectively from a home office.

Supervisory/Training/Physical/Work Environment

  • Supervisory: None.
  • Training: Willing to attend required training courses related to the job.
  • Physical: Requires driving, sitting, and standing; pre-employment drug test and random drug screening.
  • Work Environment: Remote work with regular travel; home office with reliable Wi-Fi; exposure to manufacturing environments.
  • Travel: Up to 50% annually.
