Location: (remote option) Houston, TX; in Juno Beach, FL

Type: Temporary Project

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions

Work Setting: open to contractors being remote; preference is for candidates located in Juno Beach, FL / Houston, TX

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, integrates, customizes, and enhances existing or new systems
• Applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology
• Automates the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
• Participates in the change management and service ticket management processes including receiving, resolution monitoring, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Leads projects when needed and builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered
• Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems

Required

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Clients site in Houston, TX
• Experience as an IT Programmer Analyst with GIS (10+ years)
• Esri Geospatial Platform: Strong functional knowledge and background in Esri Geospatial Platform
• Business, Application and Data experience
• Experience defining roadmaps and standards
• Application Development, System Configuration, and Support experience
• Driving will be required as part of position duties/work

Preferred

• Experience with Esri Suite of applications in a hybrid environment (10+ years)
• Experience with GIS best practices and functionality
• Bachelor's in Geographic Information Systems
