Job Details

Assists in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, and in fabricating metal parts and tools. Level ranges from 1-10 based on completion of flight plan and internal experience. Essential Functions Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and process equipment. Repair mechanical equipment including pumps, conveyors, gear reducers, seals, bearings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, blowers, and vacuum systems. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Assist operators and maintenance employees in diagnosing machinery and equipment. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, hand tools and power tools. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks.
