Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Position Summary

Acts as an agent of broker-assigned accounts, providing service, soliciting new business, and supporting new business efforts led by Producers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create marketing submissions and coordinate with carriers for quotes.
  2. Negotiate prices, commissions, and coverages.
  3. Review policies for accuracy and recommend broader coverage if needed.
  4. Manage policy renewals.
  5. Review client accounting, respond to inquiries, and assist with collections.
  6. Prepare proposals, summaries, and coverage schedules.
  7. Participate in client meetings to review coverage.
  8. Research information from Underwriters.
  9. Correspond with insureds and Underwriters.
  10. Assist in setting renewal and marketing strategies.
  11. Bind insurance coverage and prepare binders.
  12. Prepare certificates and review contract compliance.
  13. Develop new business leads and cross-sell opportunities.
  14. Provide technical guidance and resolve complex issues.
  15. Maintain strong client relationships ensuring retention and satisfaction.
  16. Participate in claims process as needed.
  17. Notify Brokers and Producers of pertinent client information.
  18. Handle fee collection, reconciliation, and resolve overdue balances.
  19. Maintain data standards in the agency system.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; 6+ years related experience; ongoing CE requirements; valid Insurance License.

Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, leadership, analytical abilities, teamwork, client relationship management, insurance product knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
