Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Quality Control Manager to join our CCI Prime Contractors team, a subsidiary of (BBCH). In this key role, you'll be maintaining current records of quality control operations, activities, and tests performed, including the work of subcontractors and suppliers. This role is located at Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM

Scope of Work:

The work includes the construction of a pre-engineered metal building with reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab, steel structure, metal sandwich panel walls and standing seam metal roof, environmental control (heating, air conditioning, and ventilation), fire detection and protection, mass notification system, etc. Functional areas include: open administration offices, closed administration offices, foyer, conference room, men's and women's restrooms, break room, and storage rooms. Supporting facilities include utilities, pavements, site improvements, communications, and all necessary support.

Responsibilities

•Coordinating and reviewing submittals to ensure compliance with quality standards
•Updating the submittal register accurately and in a timely manner
•Conducting inspections to evaluate materials and workmanship quality
•Supervising special inspections as required
•Verifying qualifications of subcontractors and suppliers
•Maintaining detailed rework/deficiency logs for quality improvement
•Performing inspections during the 3 phases of the project
•Holding preparatory meetings with the project team to discuss quality control measures
•Implementing USACE Quality Control Management guidelines efficiently

Qualifications

•OSHA 30
•CQM-C certification within the last 5 years
•Graduate Engineer or a graduate of Construction Management
•Minimum 5 years of construction experience as a Quality Control Manager on projects of similar size and complexity
•Experience managing Government projects
•Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF
•Experience with Procore and RMS
•As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, climbing, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Conditions:

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
