POSITION SUMMARY
The Center Service Manager I is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a single Early or Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Program site and responsible for the supervision of up to 20 staff within CPLC's Early Childhood Development. Manages center operations and ancillary service needs, such as early childhood educational services, calendars, staff schedules, transportation, supplies, and food service, in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards, Head Start Act (12/7/07), USDA requirements and CPLC Policies and Procedures. Promotes opportunities for parents to enhance their role as the primary influence in their child's education and development. Works in coordination with the Regional Operations Manager, Content Program Coordinators, and Statewide Coordinators to promote school readiness by preparing children and families for school and life success as it relates to this position. Actively supervise children by sight and sound at all times and in all environments. Maintain all health and safety regulations to create an optimum learning environment. Facilitate health practices to keep children safe in the school bus, outdoor and indoor environments.
